This section focuses on getting to know you! The training proces is 95% training the owner and 5% training the dog, so the more we know about you at the beginning of the process, the better we can tailor our program to you!

Have you worked with a dog training professional in the past with your current dog or other pups? If so, what type of training, how long was the program, and what did you learn that is still useful to you now?

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your dog’s confidence level? Where 1 would be extremely insecure, and 10 would be highly confident or even cocky.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your dog’s dominance? Where 1 would be extremely submissive, and 10 would be highly dominant.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how high is your dog’s food drive? 1 being a dog who would care more about you, a toy, or their environment even if you were decked out in a suit made of meat, while a 10 will ignore the apocalypse if there are snacks available.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your dog’s energy levels? Where 1 would be extremely low, not needing a lot of activity at all to feel fulfilled, and 10 being extremely high needing a lot of daily activity to feel fulfilled.

Section 3: The Lifestyle Questions

How you live with your dog affects how they see you and the world around them. We need to know how these daily rituals play out now to see if we need to make any tweaks.

Tell us about your dog’s feeding ritual. How many times a day do you feed them? Do they start eating right away and finish within a few minutes? Do they graze periodically throughout the day?

How does your dog behave when you reunite with them after being separated for a period of time? This could look differently when you’re just coming out of the bathroom, coming home from work, or returning from a vacation.

How does your dog behave at a doorway when you’re intending to let them through for a potty break, walk, etc.?
